There is a cliff walk nearby
It was very difficult to find. It is in the middle of a housing estate. It is just a small family run hotel not as I thought an old Posada.

The breakfast was relatively good
We felt this accomodation was very overpriced for what it offered. Its location is poor - situated in the middle of a housing estate. The room was adequate but small. The ensuite bathroom was very small. The owner was unable to get the TV in the bedroom working!. We stayed in far nicer accomodation along the coast for less money. We would not recommend this as a place to stay.

The people that attended me and their kindness, the fact of the hotel is in the meadle of a quiet neighberhood of Castro Urdiales with easy access to the center of that amaising town/beach/resort and also the place it selt.
The wood floors can be noisy, but acceptable. In really hot days (like the ones I stayed there), an air condiciont could be appropriate or even necessary. But these where extreme conditions... Otherwise, no complains.

Very friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast officially did not start until 9 A.M. We had to catch a ferry from Bilbao, which meant leaving at 8.30 A.M. The staff made a special effort to give us coffee and breakfast at 8.00 A.M. for which we were very grateful. Maybe the hotel should make breakfast facilities earlier for people like us, of which we think there could be many? The (twin bed) bedroom we had was quite cramped, although the beds were comfortable.
